A scream. A crash. A loud crash. A thud. The scent of blood hung heavy in the air, and then suddenly Kaze was off, moving towards where she imagined the crash site to be, leaving her alone with the annoyance she'd come to know as Balkin. Balkin, of course, was talking, talking and complaining and in general making a nuisance of himself, at least to the little feline. "No he's not -" Rinai tried to answer, but the man prattled on. "Goddammit would you just-" Once more he cut her off. Once more she stood there, glaring at him, her eyes threatening to turn gold. "Oh for Seven Hells' sake!" Pinching the bridge of her nose she sighed and watched as the man stalk off to supposedly go and check on something, presumably the thing that had 'landed' oh so gracefully.
Giving up, she turned around and stalked through the trees, her earthen based colours allowing to slip through relatively unnoticed. Appearing on the boundary of the clearing she slipped in behind Kaze before peering out from behind him, blinking her large brown eyes at the strange white woman who was talking to a tree. Wings, fluffy ears, a fluffy tail! Ok, sure, the wings weren't exactly like her own, and her ears and tail resembled more closely to a wolf than of a cat, but still! Trilling in joy she danced out from behind Kaze, a single hand gently ghosting along his back and his arm as she moved away from him, a delighted little smile cast in his direction before she turned and dipped into a low bow to the woman. Gliding in even closer her ears perked high as her wings fluttered softly, a bright, cheery, warm and welcoming smile set upon her face, giving the young woman a near golden glow. Today simply couldn't get any better! Taking the woman's hand gently into her own she dipped into a low bow before gently placing the hand to her lips, her eyes glancing up to the woman's own as she purred softly. "Hello there, little snow flake~ It's a pleasure to meet you~" Her voice was soft, a gentle melody as she released the white maiden's hand and moved in closer, pacing about her in an inquisitive way, the smile never once leaving her lips, "Oh you have wings... and ears.. and a tail! Just like me! Well, ok, perhaps not exactly but still, you're the closest I've ever seen. Oh but you're injured... would you like me to heal those wounds for you? It won't hurt. I promise. Oh lords! Where are my manners? I'm Rinai. Rinai Tsukihana. The delightfully red man over there is Kazeshini. There's another man around... but ignore him. He's a moron. Do you and your friend have names?" Smiling a little she stepped away, giving the tree a small nod.
Honestly, she couldn't be any happier than she was in this moment. She had someone who had agreed to teach her how to control her powers, and another female who had similar features to herself. Sure, she'd met Balkin, but two great things against one annoyance, and no longer having to worry about being alone? Yup. This day was most certainly a win. Especially with there being another female, she was already beginning to feel off put with there being more than one male in the immediate vicinity to herself, but another female helped to even those odds.
((Bit of a short post, guys, sorry. And yes. Yuki's getting better treatment because she's female. Boobs = Rinai likes you and will trust you a helluva lot more, a helluva lot faster. Penis = you'r some creepy and/or stupid male thing. Kaze is the special exception because he's been gentle, and he can teach her. So now he's not classified as a 'penis-thing' or a 'male-thing' but her Master/Teacher. Balkin... yeah. No. Sorry bud. ^^; She'll warm up to you... eventually. ))

As the multitude of new faces appeared around her Yuki found herself pressing her hands against her chest, the new males were confusing. "You can't be real" she said as she flopped her head to the side, her ears flopping along with her as her tail swayed gently behind her it it's own beat. "Sure I heard people here but they were far away, you must be more figments of my imagination, it is such a beautiful thing, an imagination, it makes this disgusting world far more tolerable" she told the two male creatures as she turned her attention back to Mr Tree before an elegant figure of brown and white came fluttering towards her.
Listening to the young woman curiously Yuki giggled a little. She was amusing...and...she touched her, so that meant she had to be real! "This is amazing!" she beamed as she looked the woman over "You are like me, and you are not afraid of me, this is so wonderful!" she told the young woman happily. Flurrying her wings a bit Yuki ignored the pain before leaping further into the clearing, flipping backwards before landing gently on the ground with a sweeping bow, her large bat wings keeping her steady. "My name is Yuki...just Yuki, I have no last name, and that there is Mr Tree, he is going to have to take the afternoon off to recover from his injuries but he will be back to work by tomorrow. His saplings will survive. Though I believe he is up for nomination to an Elder Tree soon, he just has to keep up the good work until his saplings get onto the job just like him. Isn't it wonderful when children follow the work of their parents!?" she explained to the young woman, and her two male counterparts. "I do not know my parents but I am sure they were wonderful people" she practically sang out as she lifted up one leg to the sky, performing a perfect vertical slip, bending her leg further than she even needed to. Her flexibility as a dancer still present after such a perfect landing.
"I mean, if you have a letter that says 'with love my darling', that certainly means I had loving parents!" She announced as she laughed, spinning about on the spot once before leaning back and letting her rump find the grass below with a soft thud. Her smile never leaving her soft lips.
Looking between the three people that surrounded her in the clearing she noted how much of an outsider it must have felt to be the human with a sword. "Do not worry good sir, I will not eat you, I warn you, I do nibble though" she told him with a school girl giggle. Reaching down to touch her feet she looked back over towards the young and beautiful woman who had greeted her so kindly. "Little Miss if you could fix my wounds I would very much appreciate it as they are very painful" she informed the woman with as much glee as before. She was so happy. So beyond happy. She was talking to people like her and a human who was not running in fear from her. It was possible she had died during her landing and this was heaven.
...Yeah...that was probably it...

*Kaze had herd the movement of others around him and was aware that, somewhere, Balkin stalked, Rin must be close too. He was about to speak aloud to the girl and offer her assistance 'as if a female would want assistance from him' he thought bitterly but before he could speak something stirred at his senses... movement... it was odd, extremely odd simply because of how natural the sound was but it was being caused by an entirely unknown source, not a single breath of air swept amongst the tree's. His bright golden gaze scanned to the north and his eyes thinned as he was sure he could see something moving out there.... a glint of silver and then all went still... Kaze was so intent on the unknown movement to the north that the females voice startled him. Kaze's gaze whipped around back to the female as she spoke, her head and ears lolled over to one side. The look tickled Kaze, his head also slightly tilting to the side in great interest of the female. She seemed very odd but there was an innocence about her that he could sense.
A hand lightly brushed at his back between his limp wings that were sprawled about him lazily and trailed over his shoulder. He did not need to look to see who it was but his ears twitched and tail flickered at the sensation. Kaze turned and parted his lips to speak to Rin about this interesting female but, as always, found that his words were interrupted, this time by the exited glance she gave him.... One of Kaze's ears dropped in question at the glance and he realized a moment too late what Rin was about to do. Kaze thrust a hand forwards to stop Rin from throwing all caution aside and leaping at the female but too late, the silky white hems of Rins clothing brushing the palm of his outstretched hand. Kaze's mouth swung open in bewilderment as Rin bounded over utterly carelessly towards the girl and his outstretched hand swung back to clap against his face, as it had once before today, in utter exasperation. It occurred to him then that she was the most cautious and careful woman.... when it came to men alone... other than that it seemed she was completely oblivious. Kaze sighed and between his fingers watched their exchanged. When it seemed all was well he lent back on his hands and bathed in the sunlight as he watched the two prance around. Yuki.... she was as complicated and fragile it seemed as her name sake... a snow flake... He quite liked her and she radiated happiness... he felt that this girl was apart of that hand of fate and that somehow she might be the one to bring this group together.... the group including Balkin... for despite how much he Kaze was irked by this male he seemed to somehow fit this scene.... One Quiet and Calculated, One feisty and brilliant, One loud and dominant and One innocent and full of life..... Sure each of them had other sides to their personalities but somehow everything seemed as if balance had laid is blessing upon them.... Kaze's thoughts drifted back to the silver flash, his eyes glanced north but he knew before he looked that nothing but abundant life was there... She had been there tough, the wolfess, the silver gaiamancer... Sky....*
[[OOC - short posts can be better at times actually, it allows everyone room to act and react especially if the RP is heavily active ^^ lol poor Kaze, never gets a word in XD]]

For a fleeting moment Rinai's eyes fell upon Kaze, just as his hand glided along the soft, silken white fabric she'd garbed herself in. It was the first time she'd seen him without a near emotionless look, or a little grin. He honestly seemed concerned for her, for the way she near automatically trusted the white canine woman. Without a word continued on her little happy flutter and fuss motion towards Yuki. Upon receiving permission to heal she closed her eye before her hand began to glow a faintly, shimmering and rippling through every hue of pearlescent colours. Gliding her hand along every little scrape and bruise, gently bringing her own skin against the other females. Wherever her hand glided the wounds knitted themselves together, tingling with a pleasant source of life-magic helping to speed up the healing process.
With the job done, she stepped around and purred happily, looking the woman over for a moment. Leaning in she straightened out Yuki's hair, removed the twigs and leaves and brushed a few strands from her face. Nodding in approval she gave a small trill of joy. With that done and dusted (so to say) Rin turned her attention back to Kaze, pacing back over to him before walking behind him and around him, gliding her tail over him before coming to stop on his left, staring up at him with big, glimmering brown eyes. Now out in the light and staring up at him flecks of emerald and shimmers of gold danced through those deep chocolate orbs, soft pink lips parted ever so slightly as she cocked her head to the side and blinked, staring oh so intently up at him. Her skin seemed to glow golden as tints of amber and orange hues danced through her soft waves of brown that cascaded around her face. For one so closely tied to the elements of ice and water, she looked more suited to fire, or at the very least, the autumn moths. "I can handle myself, you know... You don't need to try and stop me, nor protect me." her tone was quick, harsh, though the ever present purr continued on, even as her voice softened and she looked away from him, chewing at her bottom lip once more, "But... thanks all the same." Turning her gaze to the direction Kaze's eyes had been set upon, she tilted her head before turning to completely face it, her back to him, her tail low and slowly swaying, content and almost happy for the time being. "The wolf is out again. The streak of moonlight. There's magic in the air, and the life essence of the plants, the woods themselves sing of her." A faint, soft little smile graced Rinai's lips as she once more brought her arms in about herself. "It's a beautiful song... made of such beautiful colours. If you ever see the wolf... give her my thanks, yeah?" Looking over her shoulder, she smiled up at Kaze.
Nestled in close to Kaze, she had to admit she did feel safer, warmer in a way. It was a nice feeling, whatever it was. Looking back to Balkin, now that she'd calmed down and felt safer, she gave a soft sigh. Taking a few steps towards him, but remaining closer to Kaze than to the human, she dipped into a low bow, bending a near perfect ninety degrees from her hips and held it for a few seconds, before righting herself. "I'm sorry for my brash reaction, but you did come flying out of no where brandishing a weapon towards two clearly non-human creatures, one of who probably drinks blood. You're not so..." she paused now, attempting to think of something she could say without actually lying about it before finally continuing, "You're not so annoying, I suppose. I'd like to make you dinner tonight, if you don't mind. As an apology. Red, you'll be sticking around for dinner, yeah? Though... I don't really know what... someone like... well you eats, if you even need to eat at all. If there's anything I want that I can help with, though, please just let me know. And as for you, pretty little Snow Flake~ Surely you must be hungry." Turning a warm, beautiful smile to the other woman, she continued on. "I like cooking, and it's been years since I've had anyone to cook for. Would you grace us with your company?"

As her body healed and as she entered the purest form of herself she had seen in months Yuki could not happen but smile. No pain was felt as this woman she didn't even know took care of her as if they had known each other for years. "Thank you" she whispered softly to Rinai. As the other woman walked away Yuki stood up and stretched her body, her wings included. It felt so good to be able to move without anything hurting. As she was offered dinner Yuki practically jumped out of her skin, she had never had anything cooked by someone else for her without getting money for it.
"I would absolutely love it if I could have dinner with you guys, if that isn't to much of an issue" she told Rinai as she bounced on the balls of her feet happily. It would be so nice not having to look for scraps. "What exactly will we be eating then?" she asked her curiously. "Meat!" she quickly added as her ears perked up as her tail began wagging happily behind her. The thought of food always made her so god damn happy, it practically made her want to jump for joy, from some high roof top. Deciding though that she needed to share this joy with someone Yuki decided that Mr 'Red' seemed like a prime target for her happiness blessing. Skipping over to Kaze Yuki was beaming with absolute joy, sitting down in front of the winged strange man Yuki smiled with pure joy. "So Mr Red, my name is Yuki, and you sir had a very interesting form, what exactly are you? If you do not mind me asking" she questioned him as she leaned her face in closer to his, as if she would someone find the answers to everything written across his face. "As far as monsters go, I would say we are pretty alike, don't you think so?" she asked him as she flashed him a toothy smile. She honestly really just wanted to get to know them all, they all seemed so fascinating, even the human one.
The longer she sat in front of him the more she just wanted to touch his wings, his face, she needed to feel as to how different he was to her. Sure it sounded kinda creepy but that is not how she meant it. She was a very tactile kinda girl...beast...monster. Yuki had been from a very young age, in order to understand things she had to touch them, feel them, it was just how her deranged mind worked.

Kaze glanced over at Balkin as he spoke, and he gave an amused huff at the males words shooting him a small grin.... As Rin walked back over to him her tail flickered across his skin and he picked up the roiling sensations of emotion he often got when his bare skin came in contact with another's. mild frustration, no doubt at his earlier attempt to touch her but also appreciation... These were the prominent emotive sensations, the others as always a mass of uninterpratable sensation. Had he come in contact with others frequently he may have mastered this vampiric trait but alas he had never had much chance to train himself too it, not since... As a flash of those broken images invaded his mind and shattered his tranquility Kaze grimaced unseen and found himself quickly having to push them away and regain controll. Kaze gazed at Rin as she stopped before him and for a while she simply gazed into his bright golden eyes. Kaze bearly stirred and gazed right back making sure his eyes remained thier usual cat like shape and form and did not fluctuate. eventrally Rin did stir and spoke, her words confirming his prior theories. Kaze nodded ever so slightly in acceptance of her words. Rin then gazed to the north, his gaze following hers. He listened intently as she spoke of the wolfess and at her request for him to thank the gaiamancer Kaze replied, his soft and alluring voice rolling from between his lips. "So you noticed her too? She is a mysertry, something old, ancient maybe... From the world before it was a wate land.... I know nothing of her, I met her and the dark one only once when she dragged me from the tide one cold night... What ever she is I must learn more for she spoke to me that night, words that some how struck every cord in my body and soul and resonated through me but... I can't.... I remember the feeling but... The words are lost to me..."
Dinner was mention some time after and Kaze realised he was actually very hungry. As Rin commented on the complexities of his diet Kaze sniffed a laugh. "I don't need to drink blood to sustain myself, thankfully that part of my vampiric blood has little hold on my physical body." He assured her.
Yuki suddenly bounded over and popped herself down in front of him. At that Kaze sat upright and pulled his wings up against his back, retreating them from the ground they had been sprawled on ensuring they were not stepped on. Kaze's head tilted as he listened to yuki. Kaze gave the girl a soft smile, the expression changing his cold angular features dramatically. The smile brought light to his eyes and a softness to his expression that had never really been seen before. "We do have some brilliant simalarities, Rin too. I am part vampire, werewolf and demon, that much I know... There are other bloods in me but I am yet to unravel those mysteries.... I have no memories past a certain part of my life and.... Hazy ones from a dark part early on so really I know little of myself... Not what or who I truly am" Kaze turned then to Rin "which is why I MUST find that wolfess, she knows, I am sure of it, if only I could recall her words...". At that Kaze rested his brown against the palm of his hand and for the briefest moment a look of loss, lonlyness, exhaustion and hopelessness passed through those golden eyes just as they closed. Kaze then sat upright again, that unreadable look once again upon his face giving them that slightly cold yet attractive trait "I'm sure she could answer many questions about the world, these odd unaffected areas..." He added.

"Hey now," Rin's voice was soothing and gentle as she reached out and gently lay her hand upon Kaze's forearm, her thumb gliding over his skin in a slow back and forth motion as she cooed at him softly, a warm smile upon her face, "There's no need to get yourself so worked up about it, ok? I'll help you find the wolf, since you're going to help me learn to control my powers better. I promise. I'll help you find the silver wolf. But until then~ How about we focus on denning down for the night while I cook us all something to eat~ Fish, it seems~" Her smile turned to Balkin as he walked over, his arm thrust out proudly with his catch dangling down from it. Honestly, he sort of reminded her of a pup at that point. She could just imagine a little black curly tail wagging oh so happily and proudly at the fact he believed he'd done something useful. Walking away from Kaze she walked up to Balkin and gave him a small nod and smile of thanks, taking the fish from his hand with a small laugh. "I'm a cat, dumbass~ I'm well versed in the art of hunting and of fishing. But thank you, this does make things much easier. " Turning back she looked to Yuki and Kaze, before motioning back towards the forest and up towards the steep cliffs and mountains. "How about we head on back to my den. I've plenty of room, it's nice and sheltered, and I've got some herbs and stuff down there I can add to the fish~ Besides. It looks like there's a storm brewing, it'll probably hit tonight. Safer for us all inside." Glancing out and over the ocean, said storm was nothing more than a grey haze over the horizon, barely noticeable right now, but the motion of the ocean had changed, and she could feel the tension in the air. A storm was coming, no doubt about it, and storms were things she was terrified of, to the point she'd made her den in an underground cave system. Turning around she headed back towards the forest, pausing just long enough to smile over her shoulder at the misfit group and flick her tail, encouraging them to follow, before heading off.
It didn't take her long at all to lead them to the base of the mountain and a rocky cliff jutting out of the greenery. Walking over to Kaze, she placed the fish in his hands before moving back to the cliff face and starting to rustle around with some of the vines and bushes that were growing along the rocky surface. Finally, she hicked her hands into some vines and drew them to the side, pulling away the shrubbery to reveal an opening. Looking back to the group, she grinned and motioned to the cave. Within the darkness, faint, beautiful glowing things were visible, illuminating the path deeper inside the mountain in pale hues of the rainbow. "Welcome to my home, guys. Well, the front door to it. Come on in, I won't bite~" With a laugh she walked inside, leaving Kaze to cary the fish as she led them from the cave mouth, through a smooth, stone tunnel and into a large open cave, filled with various pillows and blankets and random shiny things, all littered around on the floor, while off to the right was another illuminated tunnel, the first jut off of it revealing what appeared to be a cooking area, and further down holding more, but smaller, openings with more pillows, furs, blankets and shiny things, all things she'd collected over the years. "So ah... make yourself at home. I have... random... shit everywhere, honestly. I find stuff that feels nice or looks nice, and just kinda gather it here. Somes from some of the old, ancient castelly things up higher on the mountain, other stuff is stuff that washes up on the shore, and some of it's from out in the wastelandy areas. So... yeah. I dunno. Immunna go start cooking." With that said, she slipped off into the little side room. Quickly, though, she returned, taking the fish back from Kaze with a slightly flushed and embarrassed expression, before disappearing once more into the cooking area. Once in there, she started pulling out woven baskets of various gathered fruit, vegetables and herbs she'd dried out, before setting about gutting and scaling the fish. With that done, she moved to fillet them, carefully removing every bone before placing in small cuts into the flesh and kneading seasoning into it, and all the while she sang softly to herself in an ancient, forgotten tongue.

((Finally done with assessments so I can get a post in))
Watching the interesting exchange between her new friends Yuki sat with a derpy little smile across her face. After watching the fish arrive and Rin hurry them away. Scurrying along behind Rin and her new friends Yuki happily awaited until they arrived at their destination. She had to admit she loathed the rain and the cold likewise so she really did not mind being lead away to some new and strange place. As they arrived to the side of the mountain and the entrance to Rin's home was revealed Yuki gasped in shock, she did not expect they would be in a cave such as this. In reality she was expecting some kind of shallow cave to hide in over night.
Dashing inside the network of underground caves Yuki skipped along happily, she knew it would be much warmer in here than anywhere else she could have stayed tonight. Sitting down among the collection of pillows and blankets Yuki got herself comfortable as she watched Rinai dash around the caves, giggling a little to herself as she quickly came back for the fish. "You know I can cook that for you" she told her excitedly as she rocked back and forth on the spot. As she did she felt the strange sensation up her nose that could only be one thing. "Ah ah ah ah A-CHU!" she called out as she tipped her head back and let out a mighty sneeze. As she did flames shot from her mouth, a small ball of flames hitting the blanket in her lap. Recovering from her flaming sneeze Yuki quickly began trying to smack out the flames before she damaged the blanket any further. "Oh I am so sorry! I didn't mean to" she apologized as she smacked out the flames. "I have not got all of my powers in check yet, but do not worry I am getting there! No need to pull out your swords and screaming 'death to the demon' " she said with a sarcastic and nervous laugh.
Pushing the covers off and away from her she continued to laugh nervously hoping that no one would try and kill her this time. The last time this happened she had almost gotten her head off since she happened to sneeze right near a small child. One thing led to another and suddenly she was running away from a mob of crazy people with large knives screaming about removing her head from her body for being a child eating demon. Yeah...she is never going to the South again.
