"A recommendation for those who backed the kickstarter; Breed your starters before you make any dragon into an imperial. Initially dragon population is going to be very low, and getting 3 dragons as soon as possible will be to your advantage with the coliseum. The starter breeds have the lowest breeding cooldown, so get some hatchies going, THEN apply the imperial scroll.
Your first set of hatchies will be starter dragons, but your adults and hatchlings will be able to breed again much sooner."
Because of this, I've finally decided upon my own start up plans.
* I will be of the Nature flight.
* I will be breeding my two progs right from the get go.
* If I don't like the way the hatchlings turn out, I'll most likely be looking to trade them with other players, if I do like them, however, and they gp with my breeding plans, I will be keeping them.
* If I don't like the way they turn out, and no one purchases them for the set price within a set period of time, I will simply exalt them.
* I won't be using my imperial scrolls or another other scroll that changes them into a breed with a longer cool down until I have a sufficient number of dragons.
* Opalescence won't be one of my progs. She'll either be the daughter, or the granddaughter of one of my progs.
* I will be purchasing gems early on, either to make skins to trade/sell, or (more than likely) to purchase hatchlings/trade for treasure to up my lair size.
* I will be selling and trading items from within the All The Things pack to other players. I don't need them all, after all, but I will be giving some out to friends I've convinced to join up to the game anyway, so not all will be sold.
* Some will be hoarded for selling later as well, when they're rarer and harder to come by as more and more get onto the site, so in comparison what I do sell right from the get go will be sold cheap.
* Yes. This does include the familiars and apparel items, all of them, maybe even an Imperial Scroll or two to be sold/traded.
* Side note, mostly to myself, I will stick mostly to trading with RL friends, or people on these forums

* Purchase a nice amount of gems early on.
* Use gems to purchase a Boon of Fertility to get hatchlings faster.
* Use gems to purchase a Scroll of Maturity to get a third adult for the coliseum faster.
* Use gems to purchase either treasure or gene scrolls to have the potential for gened hatchlings from the get go.

This is so I can keep track of what other flights I need to line up babies from. X'3 If you're not up here and you're on these forums, it's cause I'm half asleep and I can't remember who is going to what flight.
