Ok so! After all the discussion going on around the place with conversion rates and dragon breedings etc I have decided to follow in Opals footsteps *such a stalker* and set out everything I am planning on doing. This is mainly to keep myself organised but also to let everyone else know what to expect from me.
My general plans:
✓ Buying gems straight away - This way I plan on purchasing not only a Circuit Gene Scroll, but also a Boon of Fertility, and a Scroll of Maturity. I am using these to get three dragons into the colosseum faster and to get the circuit gene into my breeding stock.
✓ The remaining gems will be sold off for treasure in the Auction House or the forums, this will be done on day one in an attempt to set the basis for trading prices for what I am willing to accept. I do not have to do this, I could just keep my gems for later but I know there will be users out there desperate to get gems, also this way I will feel a lot better about the possibility of being ripped off.
✓ I will be a Arcane flight
✓ I will be breeding my two progs straight away, my custom one will be a mirror with circuit
✓ I won't be using my imperial scrolls for quiet awhile, the base dragons must have perfect colours before I will change them and preferably from another bloodline other than my own
✓ When I am buying hatchlings/dragons I will mostly likely only be after one maybe two dragons from a selling user. This is so I can obtain a varied range of bloodlines and flights within my own clan. This will most likely be with treasure but if I offer gems I will be very unlikely to offer 5 gems for any one baby/adult though this will depend on the specific dragon in question of course.
However if the user has two breeding pairs with offspring going I am likely to buy one from each pair. Trying to avoid the problem of inbreeding which I am sure everyone will face.
Selling/Buying plans:
✓ My mirrors with circuit will most likely be priced around 250k-300k. This will depend on how their colours fair.
✓ I am very likely to stick to the general 1 gem to 100k treasure conversion as this is what I feel is fair to me.
✓ Basic coloured starter breeds, with decent colours = 15k max or 1 gem (gems are only if I am feeling generous)
✓ For decently coloured started breeds with a single gene, my pricing varies a lot depending on the gene and the colours so I won't put a price down here but please know that I will not fork out 300k on a Fea with stripe.
✓ Not really after arcane, nature, shadow, lightning or plague dragons - I will already have ready access to these through pre-arranged trading/breeding
✓ I love Wildclaws and Spirals, so basically if you have one to sell please contact me.
**P.S - The Opal Lady I am sorry if you feel stalked/copied...is cause I wub chu so much and you has amazing plans...I will begin building your shrine now...**
