Oh! I missed this mistake, where was my head? On pretty babies I suppose... Duchess of the Snow the belly, head, and such aren't determined by the tertiary color. They're the accent color as determined by the primary color. Thus far, only the circuit gene makes use of the tertiary color. In the future the admin say they have more in mind, but for now it's basically invisible and irrelevant outside the circuit markings.
See the color on it's belly? That's the accent color for Rose.

Frost : My prog's gunna be a fae~ >u> And I'm putting circuit onto my pair. EDIT: Well, I'm hopefully going to put circuit, shimmer and iridescent on the pair, probably iri first, and maybe circuit if I have enough. Now that is going to be lovely! I'd love a baby of that I was planning to put shimmer an speckle on my Fae starter and scroll her into a Pearlcatcher somewhere down the line

My starter is going to be a female fae with white primary and secondary, so I know the primary and secondary genes probably won't show all that well on her, but I'm hoping the circuit makes her pretty, and the tertiary colour too. Her offspring, however, should look gorgeous regardless of what colours they turn up with.

Can't wait to see those babies I just saw a Freckle/Speckle Imperial female and I think that may be my favorite combo *.* Do you know how to get the freckle gene?

Frost : Freckle and Speckle are both treasure genes, I do believe. At least they were yesterday when I went sticky-beaking at the shop. I do admit, I love the Speckle/Freckle combo, and I hope to one day have a pair that yields Freckle/Speckle/Circuit, along with one that gives Iridescent/Shimmer/Gem Bond. ^^

Really? I though one of the two, the freckle secondary gene, was gem-only? It was originally, but if they've changed it to treasure then I'll be very pleased!

jcstitches there is one one of each type of gene for gems (one primary, one secondary, one tertiary)

That's great! Thank you for letting me know!

jcstitches : if they'd had it up in the gems only section, I would have put it down as my plan over the shimmer wings >u<; I love it that much.

The Opal Lady It's so fun seeing what genes different people favor c: So you like speckle THAT much? I feel like I like speckle and freckle in combination, but not so much separately. But I'm heavily biased towards tundras and alone the primary spots on them look pretty bad XD

jcstitches I love the way speckle looks with greys, like a stormy night sky, so I think if you had a bright circuit gene over top it'd look fantastic. Personally, though, I think my favorite genes over all will be Circuit, Gem-Bond (<- probably going to be the main favorite), Tiger and the Speckle/Freckle ones.

The Opal Lady You know, that does sound good. I think speckle works best on very specific colors (like grey), but I had a mirror that looked positively diseased with it! (Which was, in retrospect, fitting for a plague mirror). Mine are the shimmer/iridescent, clown, and tiger stripes... but I'm dying to see that gem=bond gene. So not fair we haven't seen one preview yet!

jcstitches : Welp. My mind's been changed. X'D Clown now takes top rank as favorite. The speckle/freckle genes are good favorites of mine, but as you said, only on certain colours. Not including colour specifics I think gem-bond, circuit, clown and tiger are my faves. I know we haven't seen a single preview of gem-bond yet, but the concept sounds spectacular!

I really like speckle/freckle and clown/tiger together. I am not a fan of circuit with any other gene so far but that may change as I see more combinations :3 Gembond does sound exciting, I just hope it's not huge uncut gems jutting out of the dragons body lol

The FR team have always been firm about preserving the clean lineart and none of the other official skins change the lineart, so I doubt there will be rocks sticking out.
