Click for Gened Guardians! There you go, Sky! I hope this helps. I only had clown, tiger, wing stripes, wing spots, and speckle. And you've got it right. There's no way to convert gems to treasure or visa versa outside of trading in whatever you think is a fair exchange.

Yup. I need fae clown breeding pairs. Lots of them. So bad. I'm also not too big of a fan of the ridgebacks, but seeing the clown on that baby... makes me think I could handle having a pair of them in my lair.

Oddly enough, I felt the same way. I just wasn't that into the ridgeback design, but after seeing the clown gene I thought a pair in lavender and powder blue or something similar will be a good addition.

Well you were very much right about that. The nose of the male and the talons of the female throw me off of the breed, however seeing that clown... I dunno. I think I could handle it, even just to breed to sell to others.... and ok, maybe to keep a forever baby for myself. X'3

Ooooh thankies! It does bring another question to mind tho!! The wing spot.... what determines the colour of the spot and its outlining. There was a Caribbean blue winged dragon there where the line/trim around the spot and ends of the wing seemed to be the dark blue that is an accent to the Caribbean blue but what about that turquoise spot? it looks close to the accent of the next colour along, teal.....

I love,, no, really absolutely LOVE!!! the clown gene! Ill be having one clown crew in my lair at some point! So people who want clowns should knock on my door every once in a while to see if I have some baby clowns left. I don't want to have too much dragons in the beginning, because I don;t know when Ill be able to have enough gems to expand my lair Sky, I think the colours of the eye spot are a darker version of the wing colour for the edges, and a lighter version of the wingcolour for the inside. If you use the search engine on the FR site and choose eye spot for secondary gene, you have an easy means of comparison. But I think that's how the colours are chosen.

I think the accent colours do follow the trend that Gaea mentioned but there are still a few out there that are different. Must be up to the artists discretion I suppose.

@shadowhuntress All the adult guardians (except the orange/green one) were mine, and about half the babies. The two baby wildclaws came from previewing the wildclaw breed-change scroll on two of my ridgeback hatchlings and the rest were from the Breeding Preview that shows your potential color and gene combos if you were to breed Dragon A with Dragon B. Sky The colors for wingspots are just predetermined by the secondary color - generally lighter or darker versions of the secondary color but basically what the artist(s) considered the most aesthetic. If you go to FR's tumblr and go back a while, you'll see a full chart of the wing spots for each color. I'm thrilled I've spread the clown love around now! XD

found it after many hours of looking and reading :3 Some interesting stuff I found out about in the proses, one that greatly affected me was the knowledge that tertiary colours are random and not customizable!!! Darn it! why they make this so difficult?!!! DX *rhetorical question*
