I'm very interested in trading for people's hatchlings - especially early on to widen my breeding pool. I also like organized information, so I'm writing out all of the details about what I'm looking for and what I'm willing to trade here for your (and my) reference.

What I can trade you

My custom starter is a Fire/Navy male Fae. ~~I may be putting a secondary pattern gene on him at some point, but it is safest to assume he won't have one.~~ I've pretty much decided I'm going to get him the Shimmer gene.

In addition to one-to-one hatchling trades, I can pay in treasure (or less likely, gems). I can't give an estimate on prices until I see how much hatchlings are going for once the game has started.

What I want

Hatchlings! (Gasp, shock, surprise.) I am going for a wide range of breeds and colors, so chances are I will be happy to trade for your hatchlings.

If you want one of my hatchlings, I'll be taking any of the following for trades:

One of your hatchlings for one of mine
Treasure or gems (prices TBD)
Food items (unless I have no dragons that will eat that type of food) (fair exchange TBD)
One unhatched random egg for one of my hatchlings.

If you're trading a hatchling for one of my hatchlings, generally I will want the breed and gene rarities to be equivalent between the two. I am open to the possibility of trading you a "cheaper" hatchling if you have a color combination I really, really like.

What I DON'T want

Apparel or familiars. I'm not particularly interested in the accessorizing part and I will mostly want to collect familiars myself.
Ridgebacks. (Sorry, Ridgebacks, you just aren't my type.)
Plague dragons. (Eww gerrrrms. ;P )

I'm happy to trade hatchlings with you. In fact I'll be putting the iridescent gene on both my progenitors so I should have a iridescent hatchling to trade.

So you get shimmer and I get iridescent then we trade hatchlings and race to see who can breed one with both first

Plans are coming together.

This dragon on the site currently may prove an interesting example of Navy shimmer btw

I'll probably end up doing stripes for the wings and body.

I'll be hunting for hatchling trades as well- monochrome Guardian starter + random mate, so should have a good range of color possibilities. As soon as I get the treasure, will be adding clown/eyespot or speckle/freckle; later in-game will have gened Imps to offer.

I'll be happy to trade a hatchling with shimmer for one with stripes (or very pretty colors).

kaljaia I love Guardians~ They and Fae seem the most popular starters for the members of this board so far. (They're my two favorites of the starting breeds, too. XD ) I'll put you on my list and we can keep in touch as your gene plans progress if you like.

I'll be after cool (blue, green, purple) color schemes, but if there's a shimmer gene in it I won't be picky! My flight element will be Arcane, by the way.
