My plans for world domination fun on flight rising...
Step One: Create account
Step Two: Buy Gems
Step Three: Profit
In all seriousness my first step is likely going to be gem purchase followed up shortly by debt payment. After that I'll see what resources I'm left with and then I'm going to go from there.
Likely I'm going to spend all the time I can possibly devote to amassing all the treasure I can in the first few days and then be prepared for the rush of it going live. I'll be hunting for hatchlings from flights not my own (Currently planning for Wind Flight) to help me diversify.
Mostly I'm going to learn the ropes and once I've got those down I can set definite goals other than 'Find Perfect Imperial Pair'.
Temporary Goals:
1: Finalize Flight Choice: Wind really looks nice but I have yet to hear of even ONE person who's choosing Fire Flight and if I have to be that one lone crusader, I certainly will be.
2: Gem-Bond Gene: I will be scrabbling as fast as possible to get my hands on it. Above all others I want the mystery gene.
3: Obtain a Wildclaw: I doubt I'll be lucky enough to have all the gems from the get-go to buy a scroll but if I do, you can bet that's what I'll be changing my random starter mate into.
4: The Perfect Imperials: It might take me a very long time to figure out what I want in an Imperial. So far they are my favorite line art and quite honestly I don't want to scroll one...only to have something even better turn up a day later. I don't think I'll be scrolling my progenitor because it feels a little like a waste to me when I might get something far more wonderful from elsewhere.
5: Collect ALL the familiars. I was a huge Pet/Mount collector in WoW and I do not imagine it will be any different here. I want them all and I want them all to love me.
6: Have fun. I really just want to enjoy the game and the people I interact with. I hate coming late to the party and thankfully in the case of FR, the only parties I missed were the Alpha, Beta, and KS...not years of continued operation. Because nothing stinks worse than playing five-years' catch-up.
Flight Specifics:
1: Careful Color Selection: While I don't mind having a flight that is in every hue of the rainbow, in fact I love colors, I do not want to become known for breeding Eye-Bleeders and Vomit. So I'm going to be doing my best to organize my flight into sub-flights around color combos. The Whimsical. The Natural. The Monochrome. So on and so forth.
2: Careful Dragon Selection: I love the art on Flight Rising but there are a couple of breeds that I do not care for at all. Just personal taste but you're not likely to find a few of the breeds in my flight barring them being just exceptionally beautiful. Because beauty can transcend everything...and there's always a scroll if I just can't stand it...
3: Elemental Diversity: I don't have to have a big nest but I do want to at least have a dragon to represent each flight. I feel the need to be well rounded. Plus that's not going to hurt in the Colosseum now is it?
