Which Element Flight are you?

I was originally going to roll with Nature. I'm a sucker for rival sister dynamics, and the quarrel between Plaguebringer and Gladekeeper was fascinating (love reading the little side debate, at that ). It helps that I'm also a bit of an outdoorsy hippy at heart.

Howeverrr, historically I've always been into colder climates over everything else. Ice's personality just fits better as well - an overall attitude of aloofness and detachment, huge into collection for the sake of doing so. I like the little 'subplot' going on with their home, too. The glacier is shrinking, how will that affect the clans who live there? Will they actively turn on one another, become hostile against -everybody-, or form closer bonds to defend it?

It all really helped form a lot of individuals' stories in the clan: many 'dungeon delvers' / treasure seekers, paranoid wardens that constantly look for unwelcome intrusion, some arcane and light immigrants trying to work out why it's shrinking, lightning immigrants theorizing ways to stop it, etcetcetc. All Nature inspired for me was a bunch of hippy dragons hissing and grumbling about the Plague flight.

I've always leaned towards Ice though the Lightweaver was really making me consider going Light just because I absolutely adore the god's design.
But in the end I chose Ice. Doesn't fit my personality or anything, I just like the aesthetic.

I've said before that I was tossing up between Earth and Fire. Mostly this was because of the Flamecaller's awesome design and the fact that they were heavily tied in with volcanism and metals. Also Earth was more heavily tied to archeology and history which are not something I have a large interest in (only fossils interest me out of archeology). I also briefly considered wind since it matches up with my online handle but I don't fit that flight at all (no wanderlust).

In the end Earth won because I am a geologist after all, plus Earth's associated with crystals and gemstones. I particularly love the subtle crystals on the page side/header and Earthshaker is growing on me.

Hahaha, nice way to work out a conclusion, where you can have a little bit of it all.

Arcane, because my background is a weird science/art hybrid that makes alchemy seem plausible and gets distracted by bugs. I can sympathize too with the whole 'but why is the world dead? I just wanted to know what it was and how it worked and of course I'm going to poke it.' Poor Arcanist. There's a lot of science we wish we could unmake, but in the end we will chase our ideas and curiosity to their natural conclusion, even if the end result is detrimental or sometimes downright horrifying for us.

That and epic insectoid purple dragon god.

I had a very hard time choosing between Nature and Arcane.

In the personality test and around the site, I am most alike to Nature.

But, I've always been a dreamer, creator, and admirer of the stars. Varda is my favorite Vala in The Silmarillion. I've also always been fascinated with the concept of magic, and while all flights have magic, Arcane seems different, more mystical.

My only problem with Aracane is that it looks more pink than purple. I'm a purple fanatic, and would just *love* to swap colors with the Shadow flight. But, the pink that is used does lean towards purple occasionally, so unless I have a freak-out at the headstart, I'm planning on sticking with Arcane.
