I know there is already a thread for this, but thought it'd be cool to have a graphical representation of the element distribution. If not, I could delete it ^^ I also was wondering what was the most defining reason for flight choices? Layout, lore, deity, eye colour of dragons or popularity? Discuss!

I thought of adding a poll to my thread about a day after making it and decided it was too late. *laughs*
So far from the other thread, it looks like the most common reasons are element personality and the color/layout aesthetic. I'm finding it interesting how little overlap there seems to be between the two! It's sort of like covers versus titles in choosing books, maybe... *wanders off mumbling*

Haha my biggest deciding factor was layout (I loved the nature, lightning and water ones) but also eye colour! I also wanted to pick a less popular element for purposes of trading and such as well ^^

Eye color was sort of my tie-breaker between Wind and Shadow. Shadow is really super-cool but I just don't like the dark eyes very much.
Actually, the nest art design was what originally made me think "hmm, maybe I don't want to be Lightning..."

I never found the nest art.. hopefully water isn't awful haha. I love the lightning eyes but didn't like the layout. Blue water eyes are so pretteh, especially on Tundra's and Spirals ^^

Yeah, I love the Lightning eyes and aesthetic, except for the nests... but then I loved the story and persona around them enough to look passed it.
I love the wires around the nest, but the scrawny pole things ruin the look. I would have preferred something like mini versions of the spires they have on the map.

Honestly I choose earth in spite of the eye colour. Although I expected the Earth eye colour to be brown so I agree with the design decision but I'm just not that enamored of the colour. The banner and nests are awesome in my (biased) opinion though. Earth also fit my personality too.
