Just starting to organize a few observations from day 1:
Hunt/Gather/etc:
- When gathering plants, I got a lot per turn. When scavenging or digging, not as many items. Note to self- there's a lot of plants. Digging did get me a jar of pennies and a bunch of crafting materials, so that was nice. Excited to see what obsidian, copper ore, skipping stones and the like will be good for.
Coliseum:
- When it works, it's great fun. I've had no trouble with my two and they're working their way up in experience now. I'm still working out what to do with stones (bought two level 3 stones- acuity fragment and anticipate, but haven't worked out the best way to apply them yet and will probably wait for more dragons before I do so). I'm liking the option to battle chain, as I can use a low-hit movement that generates breath to finish off an enemy in one battle, and start the next battle with extra breath. It can mean finishing off a beastie in one or two turns per dragon, and taking a lot less damage in return.
- Coliseum drops thus far have been meat/insect food items. This is nice; means I know I don't have to spend gather turns on insects or hunting yet. It's not by any means regular but the bat wings and moth legs are nice.
Money:
- Low on treasure, waiting for the coliseum and games to come back! Treasure acquiring seems limited to what is still the most buggy portion of the game, so I'm hoping they get that squared away in the next few days!
Items:
- Still trying to figure out the purpose for the Canopic Jar I got from Pinkerton's Horde.
