Unfortunately there's no way to search dragons by element, but I got some relatively interesting numbers for element and breed popularity. I think I'm going to keep a record of these on a weekly (or twice-weekly) basis and see how things change.

Wind is no longer as ridiculously over-popular as it was for the headstart, but wow, look at poor Earth. And there are a surprisingly large number of Guardians compared to the other starters.
One point of interest (to me, at least): there are only an average of 3.36 dragons per user right now, so it looks like a lot of the new users haven't used their Boon to hatch their first clutch.
