Hey! So I was talking to... Fel and other people in the shoutbox about acting as a vendor, so to speak, for your/their hatchlings/dragons.
First, this is my not-yet-open shop right here (please don't post yet!) so you can see how I currently have it set up. I added/changed a couple of things to accommodate selling other people's hatchlings.
What I was discussing as a possibility was, I post the dragons in the shop, advertise etc. and take a small percentage of the sales - 5% was my suggestion. I'm very much open to this: it gives me more stock to put in my shop, for one thing.
A well-stocked shop is more likely to sell! Pros all around.
My further thoughts on how it could work are as follows:
- You set the prices for your own hatchlings, be it treasure or gems.
- You can either keep the hatchlings in your own lair (I'm assuming this) OR you could send the hatchling to me and I can hold it until it's sold. The only real benefit to the latter is that it might make it a little easier for people who want to buy them. The former, you'd send me the 5% after it sells; the latter, I send you the 95% after it sells.
- You could also list the dragons in the AH at the same time and I would list it in my thread and direct people there to buy it.
Any interest or suggestions? I won't be opening the shop until I have stock, so not for two days at minimum if no one has any they'd like me to sell.
