Hey, I don't have anything finished yet, but I do have something I'm working on. So. I figured I'd just make a Work In Progress thread. I'm much, much better at line-work tatto-ish stuff than coloration, so the majority of my work will revolve around accents. Any skins I do will tend to have simplistic coloring. First up: Feral Tribe Accent - Female Guardian WIP 1WIP 2: I have to finish marking over the back legs and tail, then clean up, thicken and add to various lines. Once I have the lines finished, their transparency will be lowered slightly, and I'll apply various colors over them so that the buyer can specify whatever they want. I may also make skin versions, if the buyer wants to specify colors for the dragon.

Nice, are you gonna do Tribal accents for all the dragon breeds, or is it just for a specific character?

Thanks. And I am hoping to try and recreate this onto most of the other breeds, but my progress might be slow. I usually do 3 or 4 drafts on works like these before finally settling into designs that I like.

That looks really awesome! >u< I was thinking of doing some 'tattoo' ones but I suck at them. You are doing a great job

Thank you! I hadn't seen any other skin artists giving it a shot, so I thought it'd be the best route for me to go with. Less competition.

Aww, thank you. Maybe we could make it a trade, even.

I absolutely love the tribal accents! I wish I could draw like that, my drawings look like their from a three-year-old without any talent, lol!

Updated the top post with a newer version. Still not done, but I made some progress.
Whoever can identify the three dragon breeds on the back leg gets an Internet cookie. -w- (also I just need to know if it's at all clear what they are or not)
And thanks, Aero~ But lol, drawing tribals actually involves drawing lots and lots squiggles. Fancy squiggles, but still squiggles.

Is one Spiral? One is recognisable has a dragon, but I can't place it, it may just be me though.

I'd go for spiral, fae and mirror. But Im not sure about it tho.. But I thought I just give it a shot. I never let a chance for a cookie pass, not even an internet cookie !

Aero got closer. Spiral and Mirror are correct. The top one was supposed to be a Guardian, but, ffff. No matter how I try to draw the scales under the chin, it turns out hideous. And I tried drawing the finny face. Also failed! XD
I'll have to try a couple more things before I give up on him. Thanks guys~ *gives you both cookies anyway*

now that you mentioned it and I took another look, I kind of see it. It still looks great though! *noms on cookies.*

This isn't a skin, so I'm posting it here instead. A sig! Well. I actually probably shouldn't post it, cus it's already in my signature, now.
But, yeah. I've never really made many custom sigs before, but tried it out to make a skin shop banner. Pretty sure I messed up with it though. I feel like I can't get the right balance between saturation and light/dark, and the image in the center just doesn't pop enough. Probably because I picked a skin that was on the dark side to begin with.

I love your banner nonetheless ^_^ Funny how you can use so many different tones of blue
