I'm going to hazard a guess that the Imperial breeding cooldown will be in the neighborhood of 35 days. They're going to start as an unbuyable breed- demand will be high, but baby turnover will be low- despite the high number of individuals at the game's start.
I'm planning on breeding a few starter generations and trading for unrelated babies before scrolling- I'd like to scroll my starter and an unrelated mate *after* I have a handful of dragons to battle with and trade. After that, I'll be looking to trade imp-for-imp to expand bloodlines and color possibilities. I'd like to save for gene scrolls too- just to increase the variety of my clan's offspring.
Is anyone going for specific color/gene combos in their imperials?
