So after much discussion about my breeding strategy I am considering buying some gems as soon as FR opens up in order to get a certain breed scroll.
But what I need to know is what the exchange rate is for $$ to gems.
Any help would be great |

I'm really going to suggest asking on reddit, because I can't get to that area on the site and my memory is failing me.
What I do remember is gems were sold in 3 groupings. Something like 500, 2000, and.... 5,000(?) for $10, $20, and $50. Something I'm not sure all the people making skins realize is it will be $20 for one single skin. But again, this is something you should ask on reddit to make sure.

$20 for a skin sounds about right.
Same price as a basic waja custom but infinitely better XD
What I'm interested to know is if gems are available only buy purchasing them or trading them with other players as with most online virtual currently or if they will appears as rare drops etc in game :3
God this games gonna be a money sink for me XD

It has been mentioned that gems are also available for non-purchasers and earnable through game progress. Tho much slower ofcourse than buying them

When people were trying to get more gems asap in beta (betaclaw project in forums) they were farming the colliesium so I think that might be a higher return than scavenging/digging for them.

They may change it though, remember everything in Beta may be changed. That said, I really need to think out a battle team strategy, so I can get a load of gems for all my planned skins xD I'll probably be earning my gems.

I had planned on picking up some gems each month to help support the game, if skins are going to 2k in gems I'm going to need them!

I do hope there ends up being a reasonably usable way to earn gems. My mom won't let me spend money on online games... XP
However if the colliesium ends up being the way to earn them then you can bet my butt will practically live there! I want a wildclaw draggie~!

Tokagero there will be people breeding wildclaws too, so if you watch the Auction House carefully then you will probably be able to buy one for treasure instead of gems
