Did you find a list of the Familiars and their images somewhere? I'd love to see such a list so I could make a wishlist as well. At the moment I don't know what most of them look like, other than ones posted to dA and Tumblr.

wow : I have no idea, but I can't wait to find out. I'm mostly going to be after them for their treasure, maybe their corresponding vanities. I believe that we're allowed to exalt familiars as well. If that's the case I'll probably exalt any excess familiars I get after I level them up to their final level, unless I'm attached to it, which will be some of my cuter/eviler looking ones, most likely. ^^

You can exalt familiars? I thought it was just the dragons.

Im not sure whether you can exalt familiars, but you for sure can sell em , trade em or put them in Baldwin's bubbly brew, which makes something new out of it (including other familiars). And I also thought that if you have two of the same familiars, the bonding level will be the same, so there is no use in trying to max out both, since they can be used interchangeably when attaching them to dragons. I was wondering tho whether the bonding level remains when you sell em to someone else, but I guess not, since the familiar is new to that person so the actual bonding process has to start over. But who knows! Very curious!!! :3

wow The rewards for bonding with your familiar are small cash sums every time you "spend time with them" and for each level up you get a treasure chest. There are three types of treasure chest in-game: the first tends to have cheap thing like broken pottery and gold generally between 1,000 -5,000, the second can have 1-5 gems, a random apparel item, and moderately priced materials, and third third (Gold Chest) is unknown. One beta player collected enough regular chests and gold ore to trade Swipp for it, but never got the chance. The first few level ups get the first type of chest, then the second, so eventually you should get gold chests at some point. I don't think there are any custom vanities, even at the gold chest level (if there is one). And it's not like a dragon, the leveling up doesn't transfer to the next owner so nothing affects the price of a familiar except how uncommon it is. Opal Sorry, but you can't exalt familiars. Gaea's got some good suggestions for it: You can make money selling or trading them, or alter them ( I suppose; Baldwin wasn't up for Beta so I don't know). PS - did you know some trick of the colors make that blue text stand out like I'm wearing 3D glases? It doesn't matter what angle I turn my screen, the letters "float" XD it's pretty fun! Gaea You're right! They can be used interchangeably and the bonding level will be the same. That's why they say you "can only have one." You can own a flock of em, but only one counts toward bonding and only one can be equipped. If you trade them, the other person starts at ground zero. If you accidently traded all that type away, you can get another and be right there at the same bonding level so you can also only level a single type of familiar all the way up one time.

That's good info to know, Jcstitches. Thanks for posting! Makes me want to glom my familiars onto my starters and start bonding them immediately for their rewards. I'm glad the bond doesn't vanish if you unequip/reequip.
