We know what each other looks like, now what about our pets? (hope this is ok, you do not have to post.) This is very naughty of me, but it keeps her quiet. (Mum was sitting beside me eating biscuits, so Maisy decided to give her the pretty face...it didn't work.) This was around the time we first got her, she is in my Nan's garden, after she had run around like a loon. When she wants food: My brother's cat Anubis(though really he is everyone's) sleeping in the back garden. I have pics of Maisy running on the beach, I need to find them first though, then shall edit them in. Edit: Forgot to put the cat's name xD and forgot I had flickr, so here is a link to the pet section, it has the pictures of Maisy on the beach. www.flickr.com/photos/60915795@N07/sets/72157633297108944/

Oh, now THIS is my kind of thread. XD Photo-spam incoming. Also, Maisy is adorable. Scarlet. She's my baby, and an ex-foster. She's a claustrophobic cat, who was almost put down due to her extreme hostility while closed in a cage at the shelter. The first day we brought her home, she was still so wiled up, I was TERRIFIED of her. And rightly so, because she was staying in MY ROOM, and the minute I turned my back to her, she lunged at my leg. Thankfully mom caught her before the damage was done. xD I slept on the couch that night. The next morning, I worked up the courage (and stupidity) to walk back into my room, alone. Lo and behold, the cat had calmed down, and walked right up and rubbed up on my leg. After that, Scar and I were best friends. We ended up having to foster her twice, because as soon as she went back to the shelter and was stuck in a small enclosure, she began freaking out again. Eventually I begged enough and mom let me keep her. But the door to my room is never allowed to be shut, or else she'll claw on it like a maniac until I open it for her. Tiger's story is much simpler. He's a stray we found on the street as a semi-feral young cat. We ended up keeping him. It's impossible to turn him into a house cat, but he's extremely street-smart, so we've never had to worry about him. He's an old man now, much older than Scar. Chicken funnel! I have no idea why they felt like all crowding back there after we put that piece of fence against the wall. Also, a close-up of Goldie, one of our pretty gals. We only have females. ---- Below are pictures of past foster pets. --- We take in animals from local shelters who are either sick, or cannot be put into the shelter due to overcrowding. We've had many, many more than just the ones I've photographed. At least a hundred kittens must have come through our house over the years. All of our foster pets have since been adopted into permanent homes, but we are extremely lucky for our fosters to have such a good adoption track record.

Ah you guys are making me jealous! me no have no pets! I used to have em tho, let me see if I can find some pictures! So this little fella here is Leonardo he was the oldest, largest and lived the longest, and I have to say he was the most kindhearted of the four Leonardo 32 dagen.psp (93.77 KB) Then we have Walker, who was the smallest of em all, tho the largest scardycat I've every seen, haha! I had to put him to sleep cause I had an abces on his head.. Walker 25 dagen.psp (325.52 KB) And this is Lynx, who died (all of a sudden) two days before I had to put Walker to sleep. He died in my arms (as most of my rats have) and he was the most stubborn of em all. And he was also very competitive and dominant. One day I gave their cage such a thorough cleaning, the dominant smells of Leo had dissappeared so Lynx got all fired up, and he and Leo started fighting. I seperated them and checked if they had no wounds and stuff, and when I tried to take a look at Lynx he bit me in my hand, so incredibly hard! Lynx 22 dagen.psp (952.15 KB) I had another rat, Whiskey, which is Lynx his little brother, Ill put up a picture of him in a sec!

Whiskey 22 dagen.psp (956.5 KB) And my last darling! Whiskey was the laziest fart of em all! He could fall asleep on my shoulder or on my lap. No surprise he was the fattest too! haha! He is a special kind of rat called Dumbo, which means his ears are larger and placed lower on the head, and his body is shaped like a pear! He also had one red and one black eye, which freaked out everybody who saw him, but I thougt it just made him extra cute!

All you people and your furry pets. Give love to reptiles, too. Zeus, my boa constrictor. He's the sweetest pet I've ever owned. It's a shame man has to be so scared of snakes.
